Orthopaedic Surgeon - Team Leader

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon (Army General Hospital of Athens), Head of the Dept. of Joint Replacement at Lefkos Stavros (Private Clinic in Athens) and Chief of Department, Robotic & MIS Orthopaedic Surgery, Metropolitan General Hospital (Private Clinic in Athens).

I am actively engaged in research, teaching and presentations both in Greece and abroad.

My special interest is in joints reconstruction and arthroscopy knee and hip (Minimally Invasive Surgery) and shoulder. I perform around 700 operations per year (trauma and arthroscopic procedures as well as joints replacement procedures). At this time, I lead the largest volume of private knee replacement surgery in Athens.

My team is comprised of experienced and highly trained specialists. We ensure that all stages of treatment (presurgical testing, surgery and rapid recovery) are carried out with the utmost care and efficiency.

We currently treat Greek residents and many patients from abroad.
